Eight hydro-3,6,9- trimethyl-3, 12-epoxy-12H-prano-[4,3,-J]-1,2-benzodioxopine- 10(3H)-ol
Indication
All forms of malaria including severemalaria, cerebral malaria and multi-drug resistantmalaria.

Contraindications

Ibuprofen should not be given to patients with peptic ulceration. The safety of Ibuprofen in pregnancy has not been established.

Hypersensitivity to Ibuprofen, aspirin or any other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. Because of the possibility of cross-sensitivity due to structural relationships which exist among non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines, acute allergic reactions may be more likely to occur in patients who have exhibited allergic reactions to these compounds.

Dosage and Administration
Oral administrationof Dihydroartemisinin. Absorption is rapid and complete,and the active agent takes effect promptly, Humanpharmakineticparameters:oral dosage 2mg/kg,Tma=l.33h, Cmx=0.71ug/ml, Tw=l .57h. Special feature:absorption rapidly, distribution extensively, excretion andmetabolism quickly.
